Technical Information
Sensata Gigavac HX24CCC DC-Contactor is a hermetically sealed electromechanical device with 1,000,000 mechanical life cycles. These contactors include built-in coil suppression for all DC coils and can be mounted in any position for easy installation. The Gigavac HX241CCC DC-Contactor features a 400A current, 8kV impulse withstand voltage, 4000A short circuit current (20ms), and 0.3mΩ typical contact resistance at rated carry current. This type of contactor offers 12VDC, 24VDC, or 48VDC continuous coil power with no EMI emissions or crosstalk on system control power. The Gigavac HX241CCC DC-Contactor is ideal for:
- Inverter Systems
- Battery Packs
- Combiner boxes in Wind or Solar Power Systems.

- Hermetically Sealed – Designed to meet: UL1604 for Class I & II, Div 2 and Class III for use in hazardous locations, IP67 for temporary water immersion for 30 min, SAE J1171 – external ignition protection, and ISO8846 for protection against ignition around flammable gases.
- Meets CE Conformance standards.
- High Efficiency Dual DC Coils – Very low 12, 24, or 48VDC continuous coil power with no EMI emissions or cross-talk on your system control power. Ideal for battery-powered systems or where low power is needed.
